"Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd.” - RUMI

When I started my treatment this year, I struggled to find snapshots of everyday life for a breast cancer survivor (much less someone like me- a young working mama) going through active treatment. I craved pictures, videos, and testimonials about how someone like me was feeling and navigating all of this, both from a logistical and emotional perspective. I needed to draw on them as a point of reference in addition to the information I was getting from my doctors. So, when I struggled to find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to contribute my stories and create something that might help others. I am intentionally sharing my cancer journey as a working mom and survivor and how I navigate everyday life during and after treatment and beyond. I developed valuable resources from a first-hand perspective for other previvors, survivors, caregivers, and anyone juggling life’s complexities. Treatment can be oh-so isolating, and we deserve more.

I started documenting and will continue to develop blogs, podcasts, product recommendations and lots more to ultimately make the treatment process less stressful and help previvors, survivors, and caregivers feel more empowered and able to focus on the things that matter most- fighting, healing and living a full life along the way.
